Summer with the Ques
In partnership with the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., the Iota Phi Foundation is offering a few fun programs for 6th – 12th Grade students. Space is limited. They will reach capacity fast!
“Exploring Art with the Ques” is an immersive and enriching experience in diverse artistic mediums, catering to both beginner and intermediate-level artists. Throughout this course, students will delve into the captivating world of drawing, painting, and other forms of visual expression, allowing them to discover their artistic strengths and broaden their creative horizons. Award-winning artist Brandon Jennings will lead this session.
“Cooking with the Ques” is an exciting and hands-on summer cooking class designed specifically for teenagers eager to develop their culinary skills and explore the world of cooking. This immersive program will take place in a commercial kitchen and also utilize outdoor grills, offering a diverse range of cooking techniques and recipes to master. This session will be led by Chef Jolando Hinton.
“Lunch and Learn with the Ques” offers a unique opportunity for teenagers to engage with successful business owners and industry experts, as they share their experiences, insights, and lessons learned over a delightful lunch setting. This program aims to inspire and empower the next generation of aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals by providing them with firsthand knowledge and guidance from accomplished individuals in various fields.
These classes will occur on the following Thursdays from 9 AM – 1 PM at Anderson Manor. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Students should select Cooking with the Ques OR Exploring Art with the Ques. All students will be able to experience the Lunch & Learn with the Ques during lunch before departure.

There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee to reserve your spot. There is an attendance requirement to remain in this program. Students are only permitted to miss two days.
