Health  

H.R. 259 — Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) Energy and Commerce; Ways and Means (1/11/21)
A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to address the increased burden that maintaining the health and hygiene of infants and toddlers places on families in need, the resultant adverse health effects on children and families, and the limited child care options available for infants and toddlers who lack sufficient diapers, and for other purposes.

H. Res. 55 — Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) Energy and Commerce (1/21/21)
A resolution recognizing the importance of access to comprehensive, high-quality, life-affirming medical care for women of all ages.

Education

H.R. 400 Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL20) House Education and Labor (1/21/21)
A bill to amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to increase civics education programs, and for other purposes.

H.R. 426 Rep. Gregory Steube(R-FL) Education and Labor (1/21/21)
A bill to provide that for purposes of determining compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 in athletics, sex shall be recognized based solely on a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth.

Child Protection

H.R. 332 — Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) Judiciary (1/15/21)
A bill to amend the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 to encourage a victim-centered approach to combating human trafficking, and for other purposes

Family Support

H.R. 351 —Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI4) Agriculture (1/19/21)
A bill to amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to exclude from income, for the purpose of determining eligibility and benefits, income received from cost of living adjustments made under Titles II and XVI of the Social Security Act and from supplementary payments received under section 1616 of such Act.

H.R. 432 —Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA) Energy and Commerce; Ways and Means (1/21/21)
A bill to provide for the coverage of marriage and family therapist services and mental health counselor services under Part B of the Medicare program, and for other purposes.

H.R. 438 —  Rep. Don Young (R-AK0) Natural Resources (1/21/21)
A bill to amend the Alyce Spotted Bear and Walter Soboleff Commission on Native Children Act to extend the deadline for a report by the Alyce Spotted Bear and Walter Soboleff Commission on Native Children, and for other purposes.

H.R. 433 — Rep. David Trone (D-MD6) Energy and Commerce (1/21/21)
A bill to establish a grant program for family community organizations that provide support for individuals struggling with substance use disorder and their families.

Health

S. Res. 14 — Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) Judiciary (1/22/21)
A resolution designating January 23, 2021, as “Maternal Health Awareness Day.”
