Day of Silence: Register to Participate on April 23!
The GLSEN Day of Silence on April 23, 2021, is a nationwide event led by students. During this time, everyone involved takes a vow of silence to highlight the effects of discrimination and harassment against LGBTQ+ young people that has silenced them while at school. This year, GLSEN is choosing to be diligent and mindful by making Day of Silence virtual!
Gay Straight Alliance leaders, students, educators and anyone who is willing to advocate for the LGBTQ+ community is invited to register to receive updates to prepare lessons and activities leading up to April 23. By registering for the event, you will receive tips on hosting a Breaking the Silence event! GLSEN will also keep everyone informed with ongoing monthly updates, free resources, invitations to local youth summits and much more! Register today!
