Learn & Earn Applications Being Accepted Through June 3rd

What is Learn and Earn?

The Learn & Earn general program is for young people ages 14-21 to work up to 25 hours a week over the course of 6-weeks at worksites across the county and city.

Through Learn & Earn, youth are placed with community-based organizations where they are hired, trained, and assigned to a worksite for the summer. For many participants, Learn & Earn is their first job experience; for others it has become their consistent summer job.

What are the dates of 2022 Learn & Earn?

Young people who are selected will receive paid orientation training from June 21 – 24, 2022.  They will then begin to work from June 27, 2022, through August 5, 2022.

What is the pay rate?

Participating youth will be paid $9 per hour.
