J&R Day Camp – Register Now for Summer 2024!

We are pleased to share with you information from J&R Day Camp 2024 and invite our current and (summer 2023) waitlisted families to register at this time. Please read below for important information and instructions on how to register.

Dates & Rates:

Register by the week, 8 weeks, Monday, June 24th – Friday, August 16th
$500 per week JCC members, $50 per week non-member fee
Discounts: 5% sibling discount, $80 Early Childhood Development Center one-time discount, *must register for a minimum of 4 weeks or more.


To register for Summer 2024:

J&R invites you to register on Campminder, our camp management platform. This is where you will be able to access your child’s camp forms, change weeks if needed, and review your current registrations. Families will be able to use their existing account to register. New families will need to create an account.


Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email within 1 business day. This email will contain an additional form to submit with payment information. This form is required to be submitted within 3 business days of registering on Campminder in order for your camper’s registration to be completed and for their spot to be held.

Please see below for some additional information that will help your family plan for next summer.

They are anticipating an overwhelming demand for our camp program. We strongly encourage you to secure your space for Summer 2024 as quickly as possible in any week you might want to send your child to camp. Changes/cancellations can always be made later (see below), however, adding weeks later on may not be possible if spaces are not available. Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis to school-aged children in Kindergarten – 8th grade.


Siblings of current/waitlisted campers who will be first-time campers in 2024 should register at this time.
Payments are not required at this time, however, families will be given the option to pay in full at the time of registration or make a payment arrangement to pay in monthly installments January 1, 2024-June 1, 2024. Any payment made towards summer 2024 is fully refundable through March 31, 2024. From April 1, 2024 onward, a credit on your JCC account may be issued for any payment made towards summer 2024.


In order to receive the membership rate for camp, a family membership is required at the time of registration. The enrollment fee will be waived for any camp family who joins in the month of September.
All camp fees must be paid in full by June 1, 2024.


Aftercare will be offered for additional fee of $120/week from 3:30-6pm at J&R. Campers who stay at camp or aftercare will be transported back to the JCC in Squirrel Hill each day. Pick up will be at the JCC at 6pm.
Required forms will need to be submitted by June 1, 2024.


Registration for Specialty Camps and Performing Arts Camp opens January 2024. J&R weeks can easily be transferred to Specialty Camps or Performing Arts Camp at a later date for extra fee.
