Casey Family Programs Accepting Nominations for 2021 Excellence for Children Awards
Is there someone in your life who inspires you? Help Casey Family Programs by honoring these exceptional individuals with the 2021 Casey Excellence for Children Awards. The deadline for nominations is approaching quickly.
These awards acknowledge individuals who have dedicated themselves to “building hope and improving outcomes for children and families in the child welfare system,” as stated on their website. With many individuals demonstrating their ongoing commitment to serving children and families – amid the worldwide pandemic and our country’s fight towards racial injustice – acknowledging their dedication is more important than ever.
Please nominate an alumni of foster care, birth parent, foster or adoptive parent, or kinship caregiver who has demonstrated extraordinary efforts on behalf of those involved in child welfare. Submit your nominations by 8 p.m. EST on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
Award recipients will be recognized in 2021 and will receive a $500 honorarium, a customized award and be featured in a news release and other digital materials. For more guidance or inspiration, learn about the 2020 winners.
