Participate in “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren” Study for $25
You are invited to participate in the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren study. This study is being conducted by the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work. The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of grandparents who are raising their grandchildren and how to better support grandparents as caregivers. There are no known risks associated with this study.
The study includes answering a survey, which takes about 15 to 30 minutes (you can do this on a smartphone or computer, on paper or by talking to an interviewer on the phone). After completing the survey, you will receive a $25 gift card in the mail to thank you for your time.
Your participation is entirely voluntary. You can stop the survey at any time and choose not to answer certain questions. Your participation is completely confidential and will not affect any services you might receive from local agencies.
You will notice that on the last page of the survey, a link will take you to another page, which is where you enter your contact information. You are strongly encouraged to provide this information, because it is needed to mail your gift card. Your contact information will not be shared with anyone and will not be attached to your survey responses.
