National Kinship Care Month Is Here!
It is our duty as child welfare professionals to hear, respect and celebrate the voices of kinship care, not just during National Kinship Care Month, but each and every day. Kinship represents the eternal value of family in keeping children safe, whole and thriving, and each pillar of the kinship triad (kinship caregiver, birth family and child) has their own story to tell.
As an agency dedicated to the safety and well-being of children and families, ASCI offers its deepest thanks to our kinship caregivers, who go above and beyond to provide loving homes to their kin while birth parents work toward reunification. Happy National Kinship Care Month!
