Generations United Webinar: Supporting Grandfamilies in a Pandemic
Register today for a Generations United webinar, in partnership with the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a), on Thursday, May 21, for a conversation on how the Aging Network can best support older adults raising grandchildren or other young relatives during this time. With current circumstances bringing on new challenges like online learning, stay-at-home orders and limited access to services and supplies, grandfamilies are in need of extra help.
This Generations United webinar will discuss the trends seen in grandfamilies’ current and emerging needs. Experts will also share ideas for aging organizations to increase support to grandparents. Guest speakers will include a grandparent who is currently raising her grandchildren, and other grandfamily and AAA experts. During this time, it’s important to share practices that will help grandfamilies.
