Camp Mariposa: Free Camp for Philadelphia Youth

Camp Mariposa is a free weekend resource for children ages 9-12 in Philadelphia who have been affected by substance abuse in their lifetime. This camp has a team of Camp Counselors who are all trained to work with youth from all trauma backgrounds at a 3-to-1 ratio. The Camp provides fun activities, resources, support groups, and maintains relationships with the children throughout the year to offer support to families.

At camp, youth participate in fun traditional camp activities such as swimming and rock climbing combined with education and support exercises on problem-solving, self-care, and ways to cope.

Activities are led by trained professionals and adult volunteers.

Camp Mariposa gives children a chance to laugh, play, explore, learn while bonding with other kids and trained adult mentors.
