Black Girl Back Talk Podcast to Host Virtual Community Conversation About Trauma

Black Girl Back Talk™ (BGBT) is a self-knowledge and enrichment podcast project purposed to give voice to black stories and discuss how “intergenerational trauma of racial and gender bias experienced during girlhood has impacted the sense of self and over-all well-being as women.”

Join BGBT and local Pittsburgh organizations on October 10 and October 24 as they host a virtual community conversation discussing the impact of trauma on black women.

This two-part presentation featuring special guest, Dr. Huberta Jackson-Lowman, will focus on becoming aware of the historical and contemporary trauma that black women have experienced, examining its impact and developing greater appreciation of who black women are.
