ASCI Receives Major Accreditation

A Second Chance, Inc., is proud to announce we have received a distinguished Three-Year Accreditation (the best possible) from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for our kinship care programming!

CARF is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services provided by organizations such as ASCI, that meet or exceed National Best Practice Standards for the best possible outcomes for families. Providers that meet their standards in their service areas have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best organizations available.

The study process began more than a year ago, and although this was something the organization was not mandated to accomplish, the goal of ASCI is to obtain and surpass best practices in our service implementation and delivery to our families, which ultimately equates to better outcomes for the families and youth we are privileged to work with and serve. We chose CARF as the accrediting body because their holistic approach to working with families very much aligns with ASCI’s value for the family.

Congratulations to our Systems Improvement team, as well as all ASCI staff, for making this accomplishment possible!
