ASCI Celebrates Its Staff Graduates!

These words of wisdom have encouraged many to go on a journey to further their education. It is a mantra, similar to Nike’s Just Do It slogan, that inspires women to unapologetically believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with passion. We are happy to report that after a year of lectures on Teams, essays, homework, projects and group work; a huge congratulations is certainly in order for our graduates: Sameerah Allen, Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and Elijah Jackson, Master of Social Work from Widener University.
As you can imagine, it is not easy to earn a master’s degree while working full-time in the field of social work. It takes discipline, commitment and courage to achieve such a feat: the discipline to go to class (on Teams) after working a hard day (largely on Teams), the commitment to increase your learning consumption in your field of study and the courage to move forward with turning a dream into reality. Sameerah, Elijah and Shamir demonstrated all these characteristics in their pursuits.
Today and every day, we celebrate your accomplishments and perseverance, and we honor you as our learned colleagues. I know that you all have a future full of many more great achievements and accolades. We look forward to seeing evidence of your newly acquired skills at ASCI. Keep up the great work!
