Raheem Wood has worked with ASCI since 2007 in various departments, including Kinship Emergency Response, Recertification, Permanency, Berks County and CUA Certification. He previously worked part-time with Community Integrated Services as a life coach working with individuals who were physically or mentally disabled.
Raheem attended Penn State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. Raheem continued his education at Eastern University where he received his master’s degree and dual certification in school counseling.
Raheem is honored to be a part of ASCI because of the significant role the agency played in being pioneers in kinship care. Raheem continues to walk in the agency’s mantra by ensuring that families remain intact by providing support and services to the entire kinship triad.
In his spare time, Raheem enjoys exercising, mentoring young adults and traveling with his wife and daughter.
