L’Tesha J. Gamble-Pettis leads the agency’s Point of Contact program and Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network services.

During her tenure at ASCI, Gamble-Pettis has provided leadership to the kinship care and permanency services departments. She has also supported a number of projects, including the roll-out of CANS implementation and Camp C.O.P.E.S., and participated in the development of the Kinship Strengths Assessment, a tool used to determine the support systems at work in the lives of families served by the agency.

As a motivational speaker and engaging presenter, Gamble-Pettis has represented the agency at local and national conferences, including the Pennsylvania State Foster Parent Association, the National Black Child Development Institute, North American Council on Adoptable Children, Black Administrators in Child Welfare, Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network and the Child Welfare League of America.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics with a concentration in management from the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Geneva College.

Gamble-Pettis believes that kinship care allows children and youth to grow and thrive with family. They are resilient and instilled with family values.
