What Training programs are used at the Institute?

The Institute's program consists of four tracks. Each track addresses a specific program design in The Second Chance, Inc. model for kinship care. An interactive format allows for the application of the ASCI model to diverse situations.

  • TRACK 1 - Leadership and Professional Development

    Courses offered in this track will provide a practical framework for leaders that will enable them to review the critical aspects of management, organizational behavior and leadership styles needed to move nonprofit agencies to a higher level of efficiency

  • TRACK 2 - Skill Enhancement

    Courses in this track will assist you in improving skills and competency to effectively work with kinship families.

  • TRACK 3 - Faith-Based Programs

    Course work explores administrative and programmatic strategies associated with developing and implementing faith-based initiatives

  • TRACK 4 - Fiscal Accountability

    Course subject matter explores financial strategies needed to establish and effectively manage a kinship care agency
